Sue was awarded a Masters’ Degree in Ceramic Design at the Kent Institute of Art & Design and gained Cert.Ed (PCET) at Greenwich University. She trained at Goldsmith’s College, University of London in sculptural ceramics, where she attained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Ceramics. She created the famous Guy’s Nursing Sister bronze, which stands in the entrance to Guy’s Hospital, London, England.
She is a specialist in making portraits of people, lifelike hares and groups of children. Her work can be seen in restaurants, and public places as well as people’s homes and gardens.
Over many years Sue has focused on dogs and horses, making very accurate portraits in bronze of pets and also show dogs, which include 3 supreme Crufts champions.
